Willmot Dixon and Aden Groundworkers donate 40 Tons of MOT to resurface road at the Sanctuary

We would like to thank both Willmott Dixon (www.willmottdixon.co.uk) and Aden Groundworkers (www.adencontracting.co.uk) for the very kind donation of 40 tons of MOT for the resurfacing of the drive at Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary. This was second life road surfacing material.

This was a very generous and much appreciated gesture which will improve the surface of the road and help those that visit the sanctuary with a smooth ride.

The Charity hosts Hedgehog Educational & Awareness talks to children’s groups such as the Scouts and Girlguiding along with many special needs groups and children with disabilities. When these groups visit the sanctuary they use this road to drive up to where our educational and awareness centre is location. The road is also used multiple times each day for the Charity when driving in and out of the sanctuary for rescues and our rescue vehicle will also be very pleased.

The fresh resurface of this MOT has been pushed smooth along the entire road surface and the road looks amazing.

Thank you so much from all at Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary!
