Lovely hedgehog awareness article from Tommy & Lottie about helping hedgehogs on bonfire night

With bonfire night approaching it is very important that we check any unlit bonfires for wildlife, especially hedgehogs. Tommy & Lottie have helped out a huge amount by spreading awareness of what you can do to help our hedgehogs this Bonfire Night.

Tommy & Lottie's blog has a wonderful article that is well worth a read on the ways you can help hedgehogs this Bonfire Night:

I met Katie at one of the Discover Hedgehog events in 2019 that we hosted in partnership with The Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. Katie was very interested in the hedgehogs and wanted to help out, especially knowing they are now endangered.

A huge thank you to Katie for putting together this write up for the hedgehogs and the lovely donated prints for us to sell helping raise money for the hedgehogs. Katie from Tommy & Lottie recently donated some hedgehog prints to raise money for the hedgehogs at Hornbeam Wood Hedgehog Sanctuary.

It is important to note that the photos you see of hedgehogs on this website are taken while a hedgehog is in rehabilitation and DO NOT reflect the natural habit of a wild hedgehog. They are nocturnal.
